Classic Rock

Overview

This design came to me really quickly one day. I didn't intend to start off designing a piece about "classic rock", especially since I'm not really a fan of the genre. However I do love music and chose the shape of the guitar as my starting point. After coming up with the "cloverleaf" arrangement of guitars and working in the final color palette, the design had a vintage look to it which is what encouraged me to call it "classic rock".

There's definitely a common theme of discovery and evolution during my design phase where the theme of the work ends up taking on a life and meaning of it's own.
