Ethan Durelle

Overview

My cousin Chris was in a band called "Ethan Durelle" for several years. I used them as inspiration and came up with this design. I started off with Helvetica and began working on how they would be positioned on the page, ultimately coming up with the idea of joining them together through the "n" in "Ethan" and "l"s in "Durelle". The decision to extend up the "h" and continue down the "l"s was easy as it helped anchor the words on the canvas and draw the eye down to their web address.
